It’s been 3,652 days—ten years—since my daughter Shayna crossed into spirit. I never expected to still be here. In the immediate aftermath of her passing, I counted every day like a prisoner marking time, waiting for release. But somewhere along the way, something shifted.

In this deeply personal reflection, I share how I made an agreement with my higher self to stay—to live—for at least 15 more years after Shayna's transition. Now, at year 10, I look back on what these days have taught me: that death isn’t the end, that grief is sacred, and that love never dies.

If you're grieving, walking this path, or supporting someone who is, I hope this video reminds you—you’re not alone. There is still light. There is still purpose. And the bond with our loved ones never breaks.
